The original distillery was built in 1897, however this whisky was distilled at the new distillery which was built in 1972 alongside the original one. Both distilleries worked together until the original one closed in 1985. This whisky is an 18 year old whisky distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2015. It was aged in Bourbon Hogsheads and it is one of 456 bottles.
