Such rich flavours here, takes a bit to get over the strength though. I much prefer it with a few drops of water. Thick, creamy, nutty, sweet.

A little harsh without water. Water brings out the cinnamon nose mentioned in tasting notes. Thick, rich and creamy, nutty and woody. Lacking the dark fruit sweetness I expect from sherry cask, but other depths here. Very interesting flavourful dram!

Nose - golden syrup definitely there, sweet. Palette - balanced and very caramelly. Finish - medium. Think there's more flavours to be discovered though.
