I forgot to mention that my bottle is 145 out of 1864. Somehow, I managed to find this in my liquor store, and it was supposedly sold out in 2014. Maybe someone's been sitting on it for that long.

Smooth. Subtle woody, toasted notes, like I’m sipping whiskey in the wood shop. The wood of the barrel this aged in is lovely. Maybe the best rye whiskey I’ve ever had. Lots of complex flavors.
I accidentally checked in to this without changing the rating, so it was a 2.5. Then, I couldn’t edit my check-in, so I deleted it and checked in again. Now, my check-in rating is 5.0, but the average is 3.8. 😕

I might have been in a bit too good of a mood and were surprised that a Swedish whiskey did not taste like crap. Thinking about it today it is a bit unfair to give it 4 stars considering all the good Scotch and Japanese who end up at 3. Anyway it was not very memorable, but it was just not bad, and that is very good for a Swedish whiskey :)

Smoky, oily, a tiny touch of wood. Otherwise not too flavourful, just too much peat.
