It's better without the additional flavourings. A little plain, and a little medicinal.

Very similar to the Lavender Edition, except with a hint of tea. Not impressive.

Not quite sweet enough and a little sharp. Only very small hints of lavender.

Creamy oats. Hints of vanilla. Finish is longish, and peppery.

Grassy, fresh water and touch of herb on the nose. Rich golden colour. Dark chocolate, but fresh. Peat is barely detectable, but the finish is long and smooth. This bottle was purchased in approx 1990, so latest distilling year would've been 1978. Was a gift from my late grandfather to my dad, just a drop remains. Enjoyable dram, both in taste and sentimentally.

Summer fruits on the nose. Slight wood, medium finish. Not so bad, but not lively with flavour.

Fresh grass, almonds. Really like this but it's almost gone. :(

Pleasant, nice balanced toffee and freshness. Creamy finish.

Butterscotch. Vanilla. Maybe a bit of apricot. Nice, bold copper color. I really thought this was going to be a bourbon in all but name, but it's very different.
