Fairly bland. A little sweet. Short finish.
I didn't like this at all... it also featured in my whisky trip story: https://derickrethans.nl/the-day-i-saved-whisky.html

Ahh, nice post! Maybe one day I'll do a distillery tour too. But yes, I wasn't that impressed with this one either.

Smooth and sweet with vanilla and a wee bit of honey. Short finish and the palette is a bit watery.

Nutty in the nose. Pleasant to drink but not incredible.
Checked in twice with very different ratings?

Bit spicey and vanilla. But quite boring with a thin finish.

Rich dark fruity on the nose, lovely sweet. Lovely deep caramel colour. Palette: Cinnamon, sweet, honey, sherry is very present. Finish is really like having just eaten a Christmas pudding with brandy cream. Very impressive flavour depth. One of my favourites so far, just because it's so deep and flavoursome.

It's better without the additional flavourings. A little plain, and a little medicinal.

Very similar to the Lavender Edition, except with a hint of tea. Not impressive.

Not quite sweet enough and a little sharp. Only very small hints of lavender.

Creamy oats. Hints of vanilla. Finish is longish, and peppery.

Grassy, fresh water and touch of herb on the nose. Rich golden colour. Dark chocolate, but fresh. Peat is barely detectable, but the finish is long and smooth. This bottle was purchased in approx 1990, so latest distilling year would've been 1978. Was a gift from my late grandfather to my dad, just a drop remains. Enjoyable dram, both in taste and sentimentally.
