When you take the Hudson New York Corn Whiskey and store it in a first-use charred American Oak barrel, out pops the Baby. The barrel aging process gives this spirit a light sweetness and deep amber color. This 100% corn bourbon has a bright, defined taste and a warm finish with notes of marzipan and roasted corn.

This is ... not that good. I mean, it's the only 100% corn bourbon that is made. But it's actually 'too corny'. You can really taste the corn, and it burns. None of the vanilla/oaky goodness comes across.

Should this not be classified as a "Single Grain"/"Corn Whisky" then?

Nope, it's technically a bourbon still (>51% corn, and aged in a charred barrel). Corn whiskey by definition is not aged at all, or is only aged in a non-charred barrel, leaving the color clear (or slightly yellow). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corn_whiskey In fact, that some company makes a Corn Whiskey also: http://www.tuthilltown.com/tuthilltown-spirits/hudson-new-york-corn-whiskey/
